A Show of Support

On Wednesday, the County elected officials were sworn in, including the Commissioners, Jamila Winder, Neil Makhija, and Tom DiBello. Each of the Commissioners had an opportunity to address the audience. In Commissioner DiBello's speech, he mentions his support for the prision, which got a great response from the attendees.

All throughout his campaign, he spoke about saving the prison even sending out a campaign flier to Norristown voters, and participating in the group photo on the steps of the prison. It is wonderful to have this kind of support at this level of county government. I hope that he can sway the other commissioners to share his view.

The next Commissioners meeting will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 10am. As usual the meeting will be held on the 8th floor of One Montgomery Plaza, 425 Swede St in Norristown.
